Cleft Lip & Palate

Cleft Lip &/or Palate may occur in various individuals secondary to a genetic and/or mechanical disturbance during, or prior to development of the child. These conditions involve a team approach to diagnose and treat this category of patient.



Many times, the diagnostic procedures and treatment involve counseling with the surgeon as well as various allied health personnel involved from prior to birth to adulthood of the patient. Dr. Tate is associated with these other professionals and will discuss the mechanism for diagnosis and referral at the consultation.
